The Guiding Principle

Faith comes by hearing, and the power of life and death is in our tongue. So what better way to build faith in who we are becoming than to hear our future spoken over us, in our own voice, on repeat?

We don’t always follow who we believe we’re supposed to be, especially under pressure. But when we consistently speak who we’re called to become, and we hear it repeatedly, the inside starts directing the outside. Our words become a compass. Our hearing becomes reinforcement. Our actions become proof.

How The Challenge Works

Be intentional about what you would like to tell yourself about who you are before performance and where you are heading.

Each week you sharpen your recording based on what you’re learning and proving

One small daily action that proves agreement.

This is your spoken word. Your “I AM” statement.
You listen daily, and you use it as a drift-killer when pressure hits.

When drift shows up, you interrupt the old pattern and move in alignment.

Your "I Am" Recording

Your recording uses this rhythm:

  • I am…

  • I am getting…

  • I am not… (always followed immediately by another “I am…”)

  • Today I will…(directive / proof line)

You create a recording in your own voice using “I AM” statements, some of which may not be true yet. That’s the point. You’re not describing current circumstances. You’re installing direction.

This is the one time that you have permission to refer to yourself in the third person and use "You Are" statements. Go ahead and refer to yourself by name.

You’re the only one who knows how to speak to yourself in the way you need. This challenge gives you the structure, you bring the truth.
